Calcined Petroleum Coke
Description:
Calcined Petroleum Coke is manufactured by calcining raw petroleum coke which is a by-product of the oil refining process. Although it contains slightly higher level of Sulphur and Nitrogen than pitch coke, the price advantage makes it widely used in steelmaking as a form of carbon additive.

Application:
- Used in the anode manufacturing process for aluminium potlines in aluminium industry
- In steelmaking industry, it plays a role as manufacturing the carbon/graphite electrode or as a carbon raiser.
- In chemical industry, It is fed into the production of Titanium Dioxide by the modern chloride process route.
