Ferro Silicon Inoculant for nodular casting

Description:

Inoculant promotes graphitization and reduce white cast tendency. It helps to refine the grains, reduces segregation. Use of inoculant helps to improve the mechanical strength and the mechanical properties. It also reduce the internal stress during casting.

Application:

Ferro Silicon Inoculant is used in steel making, grey casting to control Sulfur (S) at a low percentage (0.04%). That’s why it helps improving mechanical strength, optimizing the grain structure during solidifying.

Due to chilling reduction ability, this alloy is also used in thick casting where long time of solidification is needed.
